About the Research
Our annual community survey first launched in 2018, plays an integral role in providing a unique perspective on upland hunting culture. By meticulously tracking critical data about how our community evolves, this survey has become a reliable source for identifying key trends. These trends have enhanced the understanding of bird hunters among state agencies, federal agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Survey participants answered questions about their demographics, hunting media consumption habits, hunting practices, relationship with conservation, and bird dogs. The results provided a glimpse into the upland hunting community’s thoughts, opinions, and field experiences.
If you participated in the survey, you may recall the extensive list of questions we asked 89 questions, to be exact! While this report may not be fully comprehensive, we’d like to share the most interesting and relevant information with you.
We extend our gratitude to Upland Gun Company and the many participants who took the time to complete the survey. Your valuable input has helped us gain deeper insights into the upland hunting community, and we appreciate your contribution to making this survey a success.
